Dr. Peter M. Lotze was the Grand Rounds speaker at The Woman's Hospital of Texas. His presentation was entitled “What’s the Role of Laparoscopic Hysterectomy” as part of the urogynecology grand rounds lecture series. Following the lecture, the Chairman of the Continuing Medical Education Committee reported to him that the lecture was well received and attended by the medical staff. Comments reported by the attendees included:

• “He is an excellent lecturer and presents new and insightful thoughts on the data”

Peter Lotze, MD was selected to receive the 2008 Patient’s Choice Award. He was recognized as a member of an elite group of the nation’s top physicians. Over 400,000 patient reviews and comments were gathered and top ratings were awarded to only a select few physicians across the nation. Patients complimented Dr. Lotze in areas such as; bedside manner, the amount of time spent with them during office visits and hospitalizations, courtesy of his staff, appropriate follow-up, and their overall opinion of him as a physician.

Dr. Peter Lotze, American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG), Board Examiner

Dr. Peter Lotze was invited to become an oral examiner for the ABOG for physician candidates who are completing their certification as Ob/Gyn doctors. Subsequently, Dr. Lotze spend one week in Dallas at the national headquarters, examining physicians for their board certification. He is among only a handful of several hundred doctors in the nation who are recognized for their work in the field of obstetrics and gynecology and being qualified to represent the board in this prestigious task.
